On November 21, 2023, several enterprises visited Zhejiang Yamingwei Packaging Co., Ltd. General Manager Sun Qingsong, Planning Supervisor Fang Zheng, Information Supervisor Chen Renjie, Specialized Expert Advisor Chai Chengxue from Shanghai Xiaolingyang Software Co., Ltd., and several printing and packaging company managers participated in this event. In 2017, Yamingwei launched the ERP system and completed the basic informatization construction; in 2019, the digital workshop & MES were implemented, achieving the comprehensive integration of workshop equipment, and it was rated as a demonstration enterprise of digital factories in Hangzhou; in 2021, the roll paper barcode management function was upgraded, and the quality traceability process was improved; in 2022, the Xiaolingyang cost management module was launched, completing the integrated management of business and finance; in 2023, new equipment is being continuously integrated... 


This event mainly consists of several parts including a visit to the digital center, a tour of the production workshop, and discussions and exchanges. 


At Yimingwei Digital Center, the BI dashboard visualizes the key data and information related to production (such as output, speed, water tank temperature, and various production-related reports). Through the dashboard, the rapid circulation of on-site production information can be ensured, and managers can intuitively grasp the production status, thereby enhancing the visibility and timeliness of enterprise problem management. At the same time, the dashboard plays an important role in eliminating loopholes in on-site management, ensuring fair and transparent performance assessment, guaranteeing the order of production operations, and enhancing the corporate image. The Internet of Industry can turn cold machines into intelligent devices. By adopting intelligent collection, it can achieve precise and real-time collection of the operating data of each device. Through the connection with ERP, MES and other systems, the equipment data can be combined with business operations, which can increase business process insight and optimize efficiency. 


The production line control server is an essential component in building a digital workshop and an industrial Internet of Things platform. It connects upwards to data platforms (such as ERP, MES, etc.) and downwards to various printing machines, post-processing equipment, intelligent logistics, and intelligent warehousing, playing a crucial role in connecting, transmitting, and controlling. Currently, the Yamingwei workshop has completed the establishment of the Internet of Things platform and fully integrated the production equipment. The factory has completely broken through information silos and achieved connectivity between software and software, software and hardware, and hardware and hardware. During the discussion session, Mr. Sun, the general manager of Zhejiang Yamingwei, shared his valuable experience on Yamingwei's digital transformation through personal examples. "In 2017, the ERP system was launched, and the process standardization was completed, laying the foundation for informatization; in 2019, the MES and digital workshop were implemented, initially achieving the integration of enterprise informatization and industrial automation; in 2022, the cost management module was launched, and the activity-based costing method solved our cost accounting needs, simultaneously completing the integration of finance and accounting; currently, new equipment is continuously integrated into the system; in the coming years, we plan to integrate intelligent warehousing, intelligent logistics, and other technologies, achieving an advancement from digitalization to intelligentization."
