On the morning of June 1st, 2020, the "Helmet for You, Safe Travel" and "Electric Bicycle Safety and Civilization Travel" launch ceremony of Evolution Town, jointly organized by the Party Committee of the Town Government, the Peace Building Office of Evolution Town, the Trade Union of Evolution Town, the Women's Federation of Evolution Town and the Youth League Committee of Evolution Town, was held in the Legal Affairs Park of Evolution Town.

Chen Feng, the member of the town's Party committee and the director of the People's Armed Forces Department, presided over the start of the ceremony. Guo Jianda, the deputy secretary of the town's Party committee and the chairman of the Workers' Congress, announced the launch of the "Wear Helmets While Riding, Safeguard Safety and Be Civilized" campaign.

Representatives from enterprises, volunteers, urban management officers, police stations, women's federations, etc., relevant staff from the town government, and representatives from related villages and communities all participated in the launch ceremony.

Shi Pingping, the manager of the Comprehensive Management Department of Yamingwei, led the representatives of the trade union to attend the launching ceremony of the "Electric Vehicle and Bicycle Safety and Civilization Campaign" in Xueyan Town.

Sheng Xia, the representative of the Yamingwei Union, delivered an initiative speech at the meeting, stating: "We sincerely hope that you can travel safely with our protective gear." 

Hello everyone:

Electric vehicles are the means of transportation for many employees of our company to commute to and from work. However, I have also noticed that a significant portion of our company's employees are reluctant or negligent in wearing helmets when riding electric bikes, which has become a major hazard that can lead to traffic accidents and personal injuries. We believe that conducting this "Wear Helmets While Riding, Be Safe and Civilized" activity is extremely important and necessary for our company's trade union. We will surely respond to the call and actively assume the responsibilities of the company's trade union, in order to eliminate the phenomenon of employees not wearing helmets while riding electric bikes, prevent and reduce traffic accidents during employees' commutes, and jointly create a safe, smooth and harmonious road traffic environment.

1. Actively cooperate and fulfill responsibilities. We attach great importance to this event and will deeply understand its spirit. We will actively cooperate in carrying out all stages of the event, establish and strictly implement the safety travel responsibility system for employees, and ensure that safety responsibilities are assigned to each department, each position, and each individual. 

II. Extensive publicity and comprehensive mobilization. We will conduct comprehensive publicity for the cycling with helmet safety and civilized riding activities within the factory premises. We will make full use of banners, publicity windows, easy-to-hold posters, and other promotional methods. At the same time, we will have personnel give speeches in the workshops and teams to encourage every union member to pay attention to and participate.

III. Guarding the "factory gate" and maintaining consistency. We will organize the trade union officials, administrative staff, and workshop team leaders of the enterprises to serve as counselors for managing the factory gate. They will take turns standing guard at the gate during working hours and supervise and guide the employees to wear helmets correctly when riding electric bikes during commuting. 

IV. Incorporate into assessment and provide timely feedback. Conduct regular spot checks to monitor the progress and implementation of the measures. Include wearing helmets while riding electric bikes in the regular assessment. Announce the results within the enterprises on a regular basis and report the situation to the superior trade union.

V. Strengthen learning and enhance qualities. While conducting supervision and guidance, actively organize employees to participate in training and learning on safe travel and safe production. This will effectively enhance the safety awareness and civilized travel qualities of each employee, enabling them to make the transition from "I have to wear a helmet" to "I want to wear a helmet". 

Comrades, for a safe journey, let civility accompany us. Wear a safety helmet. Although it's a small matter, this small detail is crucial for life, for the integrity and happiness of the family. Remember to wear a helmet when cycling, and learn how to wear it correctly. This is our initiative and our commitment.
